Xodus AURORA

EIA Practitioners – Marine Renewables

Following the Crown Estate announcement on the award of Lease Option Agreements for wave and tidal developers in the Pentland Firth, Xodus AURORA is looking to recruit EIA Practitioners for its Orkney office to service our ever growing renewables portfolio. Xodus AURORA already has established working relationships with a number of developers successful in the Pentland Firth Round and is ideally placed to support these companies as they realise their plans for commercial developments. We aim to maintain our position at the heart of the marine renewables industry going forward, and if you do too, Orkney is the place to be.

Orkney offers a rich mixture of culture and opportunity together with outstanding scenery and some of the most modern and high living standards to be found in the UK. To find out more go to www.workorkney.co.uk.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a multi-disciplined environmental team providing services to the emerging marine renewables industry. You will be involved in leading and project managing high profile EIA's, as well as having the opportunity to diversify your EIA and management skills to other marine sectors. In addition to leading EIA projects, there will also be a strong emphasis on business development.

Ideal candidates will be highly motivated individuals with at least 5 years experience in EIA for marine related industries, ideally including some offshore renewables experience. Candidates should also have proven project management experience in a consultancy environment. Being a registered EIA Practitioner or holding another recognised IEMA accreditation would be advantageous. Strong leadership and business development qualities are a prerequisite.
